BOILERS FOR PEOPLE THAT KNOW AND CARE®

HOT WATER BOILERS

The ZVBA Hot Water Electrode Boiler is an immersion type boiler that produces hot water directly. It uses a gas pressure system to prevent the water in the inner vessel from steaming. Water circulates between the outer and inner tank. Power is regulated by the water level in the inner tank, ie, the amount of water in contact with the electrodes. The hot water is directly pumped out of the boiler and transfers energy via a Plate Heat Exchanger.

The hot water boiler can regulate the power output between 3-100

Medium Voltage Input  6–24kV

Power Input                 5-40MW

Temperature                   Max180C (350F)

STEAM BOILERS

The ZDKI steam boiler is an immersion type electrode boiler.  It has an outer vessel and an inner tank.  Water circulates between the outer and inner tank.  Power is regulated by the water level in the inner tank, ie, the amount of water in contact with the electrodes.  This gives the ZETA boiler very fast startup time and modulation rage between 3-100%.  ZETA Steam Boilers accepts power between 5-70MW.  It can produce high steam pressure up to 950 psig.  Its efficiency is nearly 100% without the only energy loss through insulation and blowdown.  Due to large steam space of the immersion boiler and very calm steaming surface, it can generate very clean steam with very little carryover.  That is one the reason why ZETA steam boilers are the preferred auxillary boilers in the nuclear power plant, where they require 99.9+% steam quality.

Medium Voltage Input         6–24kV

Power Input                        5-70MW (220K PPH)

Steam Pressure                    Up to 950 psig
