This client’s boiler was more than 20 years old and was scheduled for refurbishment. RENTECH was contracted to supply supervision, labor forces and equipment to refurbish Boiler #1. The work was performed around-the-clock, and materials for the project were supplied by the customer. RENTECH personnel replaced the complete generating section along with furnace roof and side wall tubes. Also included in the project were replacements of an expansion joint, boiler penthouse, ducting and casing.
